Getting reacquainted

With a very old friend. My yoga mat. Well not this exact one, but the idea of being on it, doing some asanas.

No masks to be had for love nor money here, and I forgot to wear mine when I ventured forth to shopping centre to buy a yoga mat. Filthy looks, not my imagination. So I had to improvise quickly by buying a one pound airline sleep mask and wear it upside down on my mouth. Seemed to do the trick. I do wonder what the effect on the landfill will be with all these millions of disposable masks. I hope they don’t end up in the ocean. Disposable anything is not really helping climate change problem.

My blue tooth keyboard is going on strike. one side is not working. so i will post a few pics and go and do some more yoga.

Happy Tuesday.

this wil have to do for now
making friends with my mat
another Gweilo meat free supper for Mr Leung. Vegetarian pasta bake.

Looking for my long lost family in Hong Kong
And previously....
Fell in love with coastal living 5 years ago. And moved to stunning St Ives. A place to create and grow and flourish. Got me a home and a job. And never looked back. Everyone talks and writes about the famous dead people of St Ives. Virginia and Alfred and Ben and Barbara and Peter and Wilhelmina. Well I thought I’d introduce you to some very nice folk, and they’re all very much alive and make St Ives a much the better town for it.

Please look after yourself. I understand there is now a death in NK due to the virus. I feel sure there is more than one but who knows. We have seen some horrific images of body bags being brought out of peoples houses and piled up on top of each other in the back of an ambulance. We have also seen hospital staff waving goodbye to some so called cured people. All very strange. Most healthy people will perhaps cope reasonably well with the virus but the likes of me will be killed by it. Have they closed all the boards yet? Axx

So many contradictory stories, letter, reports. Yes. First death here and two more cases. Most deaths are due to complications from underlying health conditions. The media and press are having a frenzy. There’s so many differing views .

But getting stressed and spooked and constantly reading every news story won’t help me. Raises cortisol levels and reduces immunity. Got to not panic (remember to wear my mask!) and keep a calm clear head

Yoga will help calm the mind and relax the body. Thanks for educational grant link via Yorick. At the moment I am avoiding any links to that topic while I focus on my mindfulness training. Today the sun is shining and the sea in calm. I might get a walk in before I go to my yoga class. Take care.
